Blueberry Log & Timber, Inc. was established in 1978 by Don and Lynette Guida. Originally situated on the banks of the Straight River four miles Southwest of Park Rapids Minnesota It relocated to the Park Rapids Industrial Park in the year of 2000. In 2008 the name was changed to Blueberry Log & Timber, Inc.

In the 1990’s Blueberry Log & Timber exhibited at several Home and Garden Shows winning several awards for “Best of Show” for the quality of their displays.

Historical Restoration of many buildings in State Parks and other Historical Attractions including the Douglas Lodge at Itasca State Park, restoration work at Tettegouche State Park, and Fort Abercrombie.

99% of the Company’s business comes from referrals and word of mouth. Many leads are generated from past clients, private parties and contractors. The company also provides specialty log products to many area lumber yards and building material suppliers.

Blueberry Log & Timber (formerly Straight River Log Homes) also furnished materials and construction services for the completion of two full scale replicas of Norwegian Stave Churches. The Hopperstad is located at the Hjemkompst Center in Moorhead, Minnesota and the Gol Church located at the Scandinavian Park in Minot, North Dakota.
